MGIMS-JBTDRC Arogya Web Portal presents progress being made in Holistic Healthcare and Research in Lifestyle diseases by Indian Institutions for better awareness, interaction and advancement in holistic therapy and research. This web portal basically provides healthcare information at reputed Holistic Healthcare and Research Centers in India on one platform for benefit of medical practitioners and general public.

          The World Health Organization has estimated that between 65-80 percent of world’s population rely on holistic health systems for their healthcare requirements. In India traditionally various institutions are practising different holistic Indian systems of Medicine such as Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy etc for better management of chronic diseases with use of less or no drugs with more emphasis on nutrition and lifestyle. This Arogya web portal has main goals of (1) helping the public in better understanding the advances and make decision for their health care requirement at different holistic healthcare centres and (2) active interaction between holistic medicine practioners for research development in holistic medicine, future of global healthcare in the new millennium.
